Terms of Service & End User License Agreement

These terms govern your use of goatyardmarine.com and the online services provided by The Goat Yard ("we", "us", "the yard"), including customer accounts, storage and service requests, quotes, invoices, and online payment. By creating an account or using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use this website and its customer-portal features for their intended purpose: managing your boats, requesting services, reviewing quotes, and paying invoices. You may not copy, resell, scrape, reverse engineer, or misuse the site or its content.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate contact, boat, and billing information and to keep it up to date.

Estimates shown during storage and service requests are provided for planning purposes and are subject to verification of final measurements, boat condition, and scope of work. A signed quote becomes binding when accepted electronically through our quote link. Electronic signatures submitted on this site are legally binding to the same extent as handwritten signatures under the federal ESIGN Act and Michigan's Uniform Electronic Transactions Act.

Storage and project work are additionally governed by the payment contract presented and signed during the request process; that contract controls where it conflicts with these terms.

Invoices are issued through QuickBooks (Intuit) and are due on receipt unless otherwise stated. Payments are processed by Intuit; we do not store your payment card or bank details. Outstanding balances may be subject to the late terms stated in your signed payment contract.

You agree not to use the site for anything unlawful, to interfere with its operation, to attempt to access another customer's account or data, or to submit false or misleading information. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

The Goat Yard name, logos, and site content are our property and may not be used without written permission.

The website and online tools are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Goat Yard is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Michigan law, and these terms do not modify the separate storage and service agreements you sign with the yard.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wayne County, Michigan.

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted here, and continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
