The Goat Yard is a full-service boatyard on the Detroit River. We store, winterize and maintain sail and power boats — and we run a dedicated speed shop for sailors who want measurably more boatspeed. Every job is documented, scheduled and completed to a standard you can see when the boat splashes.
Since the 1960s
Built on a Detroit River legacy
The Goat Yard has been part of the Detroit River waterfront for generations, all the way back to the 1960s — and we're building on that legacy. Still family-owned, still on the water. We're expanding over the winter and ramping up our services, and we'd love for you to watch us grow.
